The Rock Spring Art Show, presented by Virginia Tech’s Reynolds Homestead in partnership with Bull Mountain Arts, has come to a close after a two-month showing at the Reynolds Homestead in Critz.

The show opened with an awards ceremony celebrating the artists and their work on September 16.

The exhibit featured many returning artists as well as first time participants. Throughout the exhibit period, hundreds of visitors were invited to vote for the People’s Choice award, and the Reynolds Homestead staff congratulated Sarah Booze as the People’s Choice winner with her acrylic painting Gentle Waves. Sarah is a local artist who has participated in the Rock Spring Art show multiple times and regularly sets up at various events across the region, sharing her unique works of art.

An acrylic painting, Gentle Waves, by local artist Sarah Booze, won the People’s Choice award.
