The Blood Connection will be at Walmart from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each donor receives a $30 e-gift card, and if we reach our goal of 30 completed blood donations, our homeschool group will receive a $500 grant toward our History field trip!

The Patrick County Democratic Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Patrick County Library. Lorita Daniels, one of the three Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate, will attend. The meeting is also available on Zoom by visiting https://pcdemco.org.
The 19th annual Xperience Youth Rally, 6 p.m. at the Patrick County High School Auditorium. The guest speaker will be Brandon Gillis, with worship by the Patrick County High School Worship Team.
Community breakfast hosted by the men’s and women’s groups at Providence United Methodist Church in Patrick Springs, 7:30-10 a.m. The menu includes bacon, sausage, eggs, apples, gravy, and biscuits. Donations will help fund local mission projects. The food pantry will also be open for those who need of non-perishable foods.
Creasey’s Chapel, 73 Creasey Chapel road, Stuart, will host a Bingo event with doors opening at 4 p.m. and games starting at 5 p.m. Cost to play is $25. Door prizes, and prizes for winning games. Concessions will also be available.

Pints for Pages, 6–8 p.m., Uptown Stagecoach. A $5 donation at the door will support the Patrick County Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and Stagecoach will be donating $1 per pint to the cause. Guests are encouraged to attend in theme, with a prize for the best Dolly look.

New Hope Community Church will hold an evening of music and fellowship featuring Cindy McPherson starting at 7 p.m., 1863 Clark House Farm Road, Stuart. Refreshments will be served following the singing.

Holy Week Mid-day Services will be held at Stuart Church of Living Water, 101 E Blue Ridge St., Stuart, from Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3. Service begins promptly at 12 p.m. each day, featuring various speakers from the Patrick County Ministerial Association. A light lunch will be provided following worship at 12:30 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall. Speakers include: Monday – Thomas Shepherd; Tuesday – Deb Aguilar; Wednesday – Joey McNeil; Thursday – Bob Hylton; Friday – John Franklin.

Cross Walk, 5:30 p.m. Walkers meet at Truist Bank to walk the cross together to DeHart Park, taking turns carrying it along the way. The walk will end with a short service of music and scripture at the ballfield at DeHart Park at 6 p.m. The PCHS Praise Band will lead worship. The Patrick County Ministerial Association invites the entire community to come together as one body in Christ to reflect, remember, and worship. Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church will host a community Easter Egg hunt from 2-4 p.m. Candy, crafts, and more, 260 Spring Road, Patrick Springs.

The Rotary Club of Stuart’s free community event, “Popcorn for Paws,” at the historic Star Theatre in Stuart, with two showings of “The Secret Life of Pets,” at 2 and 6 p.m. Seating is first come, first serve. Cash donations and pet supply donations will be collected to support the Patrick County Animal Shelter. The Star Theatre is donating $1 from every popcorn sold during the event to benefit the shelter.

Pints for Parks, 6–8 p.m. at Pickle & Ash, $5 donation at the door to support the Friends of Fairy Stone Park and their outdoor classroom project. Pickle & Ash will donate $1 per pint. Used books will be collected to help fill the park’s library boxes.

The Patrick County High School Senior BETA students will hold a car wash fundraiser at Advanced Auto in Stuart to raise money to travel to the National Sr. BETA convection and competition in Nashville this summer. Rain date is May 2.
