The Patrick Springs Ruritan Club met on Thursday, March 12. The meeting began with a delicious meal prepared by club members. The evening’s program included presentations from Pam and Kevin Smith concerning local, regional, and national Ruritan information and events.

The club also discussed the trash pickup event that was held on Saturday, March 14.

The club partnered with local Scout Troop 69 and Pack 69 to clean up sections of South Mayo Drive and Spring Road in Patrick Springs.

New member, Linda Roop, was presented with her Ruritan pin, as the club continues to grow in 2026. Club members also discussed the upcoming Poor Man’s Supper on Friday, March 27. The meal will be held at Patrick Springs Park from 4-7 p.m., and will include pinto beans, ham, potatoes, corn bread, dessert, and drink for $9.

Proceeds from the supper will help to support improvements to Patrick Springs Park.

Please join us for a great meal this Friday, or if you would like to find out more about the club, you can join us at our next meeting on April 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Patrick Springs Park.
