Betty Helms Hall, 93 of Stuart, died Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy, NC.

She was born March 20, 1933, to the late Charles R. Helms and Vergie Prillaman Helms. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Marshall” Hall; two brothers, William “David” Helms and Charles Jackson (Jack) Helms; and one sister, Joanne Fulcher.

She retired from Bassett-Walker in 1997. After retirement, she spent several years working as a volunteer tutor at Stuart Elementary School. She also volunteered for several years at The Landmark Center in Stuart and was a member of the Red Hats Society for several years.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. Larry M. Hall and his wife Dr. Amy Sturgis of Bristol, VA; and Mike A. Hall and wife, Sue Hall, of Stuart; two daughters, Teresa Hall Roberson and Kristi R. Curry, both of Stuart; two granddaughters, Lindsay Roberson of Roanoke and Melissa Jones of Stuart; three grandsons, Corey Roberson, Ethan Curry and Walt Jones, all of Stuart; and two great-grandsons, Jacob Ramos of Roanoke and Hody Jones of Stuart.

The funeral for Mrs. Hall will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Jim Churchwell officiating.  The visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Stuart.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
