Pets of the Week

Cupcake is a 12-year-old senior lady who is such a gentle soul. When her owner passed away, she was taken in by a family member. She did well with small dogs, cats, and kids, but did not get along with the bigger dog. Cupcake seems confused and depressed at the shelter, losing her family for the second time during her golden years. If you have space in your heart and home, we know she’d love a second chance. She is already spayed and vaccinated.

Rocky the Rottweiler is the sweetest boy. He loves attention, well behaved, house broken, neutered, vaccinated and ready for his forever home. Best to a home without cats.

Please save a life! Adopt! All the dogs and cats at the shelter deserve a permanent, loving home. Call the Patrick County Public Animal Shelter at (276) 694-6259, visit the shelter or their Facebook page, to find information about these and other available pets in need of a forever home. Adoption fees are $10 and include spay/neuter and vaccinations.

The Blue Ridge Animal Welfare League provides pet food and spay/neuter assistance. Visit the Blue Ridge Animal Welfare League Facebook page to see videos of these amazing pets!
