Snowball Mountain Challenge at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church, 6:30-8:30 p.m. A meal will be provided. All ages welcome.

The Lodge at Primland will hold a hiring event at the Patrick County Library from 2-6 p.m.

The Community Food Truck will be at the SRRS from 3-4 p.m.
Stuart Farmers Market is open Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. With an delicious selection of vegetables, fresh eggs, broccoli, honey, cabbage, knitted items, homemade soaps, jewelry, coffee, plants and more. Bring your dull knives and blades to get them sharpened on site. The Master Gardeners also will be on site with valuable information to help your garden flourish.
First Friday Jam Series returns starting at 6 p.m. at the Stuart Farmers Market, with Hazy Mill set to perform. A food vendor will be on site to provide a great dinner. Beer and wine vendors also will be available.
Saturday, June 6
The Patrick County Music Association (PCMA) hosts the Songwriter’s Circle Series at the VA Motorsports Hall of Fame Auditorium. Doors open at 5 p.m., with music starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available at The Coffee Break, Quilted Colors, and the Patrick County Tourism Office.
The Meadows of Dan Women’s Club Bingo at the Meadows of Dan Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the games start at 6 p.m. There will be raffle drawings and food available for eat in or take out. For more information, call 404-401-0064.

The Patrick County Senior Citizens Group will hold its June monthly meeting at 11 a.m., in the Hooker Building at Rotary Field in Stuart. Entertainment will be provided by Philip Adams. Subway sandwiches, chips, baked beans, condiments, and beverages will be provided to all attendees. Attendees are asked to bring desserts to share.

The General Joseph Martin Chapter and the Patrick Henry Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a flag day program at 3 p.m. in the Martinsville-Henry County Historical Society in the old courtroom. Everyone who attends will receive a handheld American Flag.
