Carol Yvonne Barker Rodgers

Mrs. Carol Yvonne Barker Rodgers, age 80 of Patrick Springs, Virginia, passed away at Stuart Community Hospital on Monday June 8, 2026.  She was born in Danville, Virginia on December 29, 1945 to the late Graham B. Barker and Mae Pecola Yeatts Barker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Rodgers, Jr.  Carol enjoyed singing and spending time with her family, especially on holidays.  She loved her family dearly, and truly adored being Grandma to her grandchildren.

Left to cherish the memories of Carol are three children, Dana R. Clark of Daytona Beach, FL, Daniel “Jack” Rodgers, III of Patrick Springs, VA, and Patty R. Holt  and Steven Holt (Hootie) of Stuart, VA; three grandchildren, Jon Clark (Kaitlin) of Roanoke, VA, Casey M. Clark of Daytona Beach, FL, and Amber R. Southern (Hunter) of Meadows of Dan, VA; four great-grandchildren; special friends Tammy Hodnett and Tom Webb; beloved dog, Dexter; and beloved cat, Biggie Smalls.

A memorial service for Mrs. Rodgers will be held Friday, June 12, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. with Bill Banks officiating.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be made by visiting  www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
