It’s kitten season and the shelter has so many beautiful ones available for adoption. Please check out the adult cats that need forever homes, too.
Salem, so named because he was found on Salem Hwy. in May, is a fluffy Pyrenees/Collie mix brought into the shelter as a stray and never claimed. He’s 75 lbs. and estimated to be approximately 3 years old. He loves people.
Please save a life! Adopt! All dogs and cats at the shelter deserve a permanent, loving home. Call the Patrick County Public Animal Shelter at (276) 694-6259, visit the shelter or their Facebook page, to find information about these and other available pets in need of a forever home. Adoption fees are $10 and include spay/neuter and vaccinations.
The Blue Ridge Animal Welfare League provides pet food and spay/neuter assistance. Visit the Blue Ridge Animal Welfare League Facebook page to see our videos of these amazing pets.
