Local resident named to William & Mary Dean’s List

Kali Craig from Stuart, VA was recently named to the Dean’s List at the College of William & Mary for the spring 2026 semester.

To achieve Dean’s List status, a full-time degree seeking undergraduate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 Quality Point Average during the semester.

William & Mary is the second oldest institution of higher learning in the United States.

Spring 2026 Dean’s List recognizes academic excellence at RU

Radford University has released its Dean’s List for Spring 2026. Appearing on the Dean’s List is the most prestigious academic recognition students can receive for their performance during a semester.

Students will be placed on the Dean’s List if they meet four specific criteria. They must have 12 semester hours of coursework graded A-F; earn GPA’s of at least 3.4 for courses not graded on a pass-fail basis; obtain no grade lower than “C”; and receive no incomplete grades.

JMU announces spring 2026 President’s List

James Madison University announced that the following local students made the President’s List for the spring 2026 semester:

Dhrithik Tanna of Patrick Springs, who is majoring in Computer Science – BS.

Heather Edwards of Stuart, who is majoring in Dietetics – BS.

Two local students named to President’s List at SCC

Surry Community College named two Claudville students to the Spring Semester 2026 President’s List:

Jayden Diane Diehl, of Claudville;

Ethan Connor Goins, of Claudville.

Students qualifying for the President’s List must be enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours of college level coursework and maintain a 3.8 grade point average for the semester with no final grade lower than a “C.” Students on the President’s List receive a congratulatory letter.
