Rebecca Adcock, Executive Director for the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, along with Sarah Wray, Community Engagement, Partnership and Program Manager at Virginia Tech’s Reynolds Homestead presented at the Mid-Atlantic Farmers Market Conference held November 13-15 in Richmond Virginia. Their presentation, Growing Community: Tips & Tools for Growing your Community Market with Placemaking, was well received by the audience. The session explored ways creative placemaking can make your Farmers Market grow from a place of commerce to a community gathering spot.
