Stuart Rotary Club will host the 2nd annual Patrick County Farm Bureau Ag Expo on April 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the new show ring at Rotary Field.
The event will include Youth Livestock shows with cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits and poultry.
Additionally, agricultural businesses and support services will be on hand to display products.
The Patrick County Master Gardeners also will host their annual plant sale in the Memorial Building.
Lunch will be available for purchase from the Patrick County 4–H Marksman Club.
Also during the event, the Stuart Rotary Club will host a dedication ceremony for the expanded animal barn facility. A roofed show ring and an animal loading area recently were constructed, courtesy of a grant from the Virginia Tobacco Indemnification Commission and matching funds from the Stuart Rotary Club, regional businesses and several individuals,
Attendees are invited to join State Sen. Bill Stanley and local dignitaries in the ceremony that begins at noon.
Rotary Field is located at 420 Woodland Drive in Stuart.
