Two STEP, Inc. staff members recently received industry certifications. Head Start Health and Family Health Advocates Kimberly Stegall (left) and Lori Pruitt (right) received their Child and Family Partners Certificate through Child and Family Partners, LLC in June. This was a 10-week online, 60-hour program that addressed all aspects of developing and maintaining professional partnerships with families. Both Pruitt and Stegall work directly with the families of children enrolled in Head Start programs in Franklin and Patrick counties. Head Start is a school readiness program for children up to age 5 in low income families. The program offers quality early childhood education and comprehensive services for children and families.
