The Salvation Army is looking forward to serving residents through the Angel Tree.
Registration will be held Oct. 20, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Stuart site of Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC), 212 Wood Brothers Drive, according to a release from the Salvation Army.
Applicants are required to bring some form of valid photo identification, (state identification card, passport or VISA); proof of residence (current lease, utility bill for August/Sept. 2017) or mail received from the government in August or September, 2017); proof of need (Section 8 or HUD Lease Documents, Medicaid eligibility letter, benefits letter from the Department of Social Services); proof of income (pay stub, Social Security benefits letter, child support, etc.); and information about children aged 12 and under, including birth certificates for all children registered and official custody papers if the applicant is not the biological parent.
