The Ararat Ruritan Club has been busy these past couple of months.
In November, we hosted our first Blood Drive. The drive was successful, as we had 20 donors, with only four deferrals. We will be hosting three in 2021 and will pass along the dates of those drives.
We’ve hosted two FREE gift–wrapping events, and plan to wrap again on Saturday, Dec. 19, from 8 to 11 a.m. This is a community service project to help our families.
We gave away $1,135 on December 5. There were seven happy folks with a little more change in their pockets. This money give-away fundraiser is an annual event with the draw-down on the first Saturday of December.
There are plans to get right back to fundraising in 2021 and we encourage everyone to support our civic organization or one like ours in your community.
Our club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. You are cordially invited to visit with us and help us help our community meet its needs.
