The Ararat Ruritan Club will hold its 29th annual barbecue dinner on Saturday, October 29 from noon to 6 p.m. at its building at 4711 Ararat Hwy., Ararat.
The club will serve barbecue chicken, potatoes, baked beans, slaw, dessert and drink for $7 per plate. Carry-out will be available.
Invited guests Congressman Morgan Griffith, State Senator William Stanley and Delegate Charles Poindexter have all confirmed that they plan to attend.
The public is invited to attend.
