The Patrick County Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
Sammy Wayne Smith, 47, of Ararat, was charged March 12 with trespassing. Deputy C. Gilbert made the arrest.
Joshua Michael Bennett, 30, of Patrick County Jail, was charged March 13 with failure to appear. Sergeant B. Webb made the arrest for Roanoke County.
Robert Lee Byrd, 37, of Stuart, was charged March 14 with assault. Investigator Tennille Jessup made the arrest.
Cory Michael Kruse, 40, of Stuart, was charged March 15 with one count each assault and battery and strangulation. Deputy C.L. Elgin made the arrest.
David Leroy Alverman, 60, of Winston Salem, N.C., was charged March 15 with assault and battery. Deputy J.D. Hubbard made the arrest.
Amanda Dawn Hodges, 28, of Mount Airy, N.C., was charged March 17 with warrant of extradition. Deputy O. Tejeda made the arrest.
Misti Reniece Sanders, 38, of Claudville, was charged March 18 with shoplifting – third or subsequent offense. Deputy J.G. Pickerel made the arrest.
