Barbara J Evanshaw, 81, of Woolwine, died on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection. She was born on October 5, 1937 to the late Helen Morrissey and Oswald Aubertin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband George Evanshaw, two sisters; Mildred Aubertin , Bernice Lawler, three brothers; Raymond Aubertin, Charles Aubertin and William Francis
Aubertin.
Surviving are one daughter; Linda Perry and husband Doug of Woolwine, one son; Sonny Evanshaw of Florida, three grandchildren; Sarah Perry, Jason Perry and George Evanshaw IV.
She worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement, found fulfillment in raising her two children, supporting her family and spoiling her dog. She was always quick with a smile, a laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest. Private services will be held at a later date.
