Have you submitted your big IDEA?
Don’t miss the opportunity to turn your idea for a new product or technology into reality in Patrick Henry Community College’s 30-Day Challenge. The deadline to submit an application is August 5 at 5 p.m.
The 30-Day Challenge will be held at the Thomas P. Dalton IDEA Center in Martinsville. A total prize package valued over $5,000 will be awarded.
Participants must apply in order to be accepted. The competition is limited to 12 participants and/or teams. Participants receive a workspace with access to the Fab Lab, mentoring, design assistance, and access to PHCC’s Entrepreneur in Residence.
Participants work in a collaborative environment to research and test their ideas while working through the visualization process to create a 3D model.
At the end of the challenge, all participants compete in a Pitch Day where they will pitch their IDEA to a panel of expert judges.
The challenge will begin September 12 and end October 7. The pitches will be made October 14-15.
