The J.E. B. Stuart Birthplace Preservation Trust Inc. and Mill Creek General Store will hold an event celebrating the birthday of Gen. J.E.B. Stuart on Feb. 6 (the actual day of his birth).
The birthday celebration will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Mill Creek General Store, 541 Pine Street, in Mount Airy, N.C.
The public is invited to attend the event, which will feature free birthday cake and punch and free musical entertainment.
Civil War merchandise will be available for purchase, including prints, t-shirts, books, coffee mugs, hats and much more.
“This is also be a great opportunity to meet your friends and learn more about the history and life of Gen. Stuart,” according to a news release from the trust.
