I hope everybody had a happy Thanksgiving and celebrated this American holiday with family. Being with family during Thanksgiving is very important.
The Patrick County Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, December 6 from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the John D. Hooker Building at Rotary Field in Stuart.
We welcome all donors, those who will give for the first time and dedicated donors who have given before, with or without appointments.
The American Red Cross recommends donors maintain an iron-rich diet, get a good night’s sleep, and drink an extra eight ounces of water before donating.
And don’t forget to save time by answering the health-history questions on the day of the drive by visiting redcrossblood.org/RapidPass.org and print the pass or email it to your mobile device.
December’s blood drive is sponsored by Uptown Suites, located in the newly renovated George Building in Stuart.
If you are interested in becoming a blood drive volunteer, please stop by Rotary Field during the blood drive or call 694-0272. Giving back to your community by volunteering can be a very rewarding
experience. Our volunteers have a blast.
This is the season for giving. Giving blood is one of the most satisfying and rewarding acts in your lifetime.
See you at the blood drive December 6.
