The April blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, at 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the John D. Hooker Building at Rotary Field.
We welcome all donors; those who will give for the first time and dedicated donors who have given before, with or without appointments.
The American Red Cross recommends donors maintain an iron-rich diet, get a good night’s sleep, and drink an extra 8 ounces of water before donating.
Vicki Bennett, of New York Life/VHB Financial, whose office is located in uptown Stuart on Rye Cove Street, is sponsoring the April blood drive.
If you are interested in becoming a Blood Drive Volunteer, please stop by Rotary Field during the blood drive or call (276) 694-0272. Giving back to your community by volunteering can be a very rewarding experience. Thanks to our volunteers for being there for all donors.
The American Red Cross could not help as many people as they do without your generous blood donations.
The need is constant. The gratification is instant.
Giving blood is one of the most satisfying and rewarding acts in your lifetime.
Be one donor who makes up three percent of the population who donate blood.
Help us make the April blood drive a big success.
