The Patrick County Blood Drive is scheduled on Tuesday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the John D. Hooker Building, Rotary Field in Stuart.
The American Red Cross encourages donors to make an appointment to donate via the internet at redcross.org or by calling 1-800-733-2767.
Walk-ins are welcomed but please know that your donation might take longer as those with appointments are accommodated first.
The American Red Cross follows current guidelines of the CDC to ensure all donors, volunteers, and staff are protected during their visit. Temperatures will be taken, masks worn, and social distancing guidelines are followed.
The American Red Cross recommends that all donors get a good night’s sleep, eat a well-balanced, nutritious meal and drink lots of fluids 48 hours before donating
