The Patrick County Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 9, in the third-floor boardroom of the Patrick County Veterans’ Memorial Building (county administration building).
Following the opening ceremony, the board will hold a public comment period.
At 7 p.m., the board will hold a public hearing on the proposed Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Six-Year Plan (2016-2017 through 2020-2021) and the proposed transportation budget for 2016-2017.
The board will discuss a meals tax referendum under new business.
Under old business, the board is expected to discuss a paid emergency medical service (EMS) and animal services.
The board will go into executive session to discuss personnel, legal, contract and real estate matters.
