The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce held its annual membership and awards soiree event on Friday, Feb. 21 at the Reynolds Homestead. The theme was the Roaring 20s. Many attendees dressed in period costumes and enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres while we celebrated the ‘Best of Patrick County.’ Winners for the evening were:
Small Business of the year: Mattie B’s;
Large Business of the year: Patrick County Public Schools;
Community Champion: Patrick County Young Professionals;
Non-Profit of the year: Caring Hearts Free Clinic;
Event of the Year: Front Porch Fest;
Chamber Partnership Award: Kim Rakes — Pull up a Chair Patrick County Facebook page;
Businesses and organizations were nominated and voted on by their peers and the general public. The Chamber Partnership award is selected by the chamber board. Thank you to everyone who nominated, voted and attended the Soiree. The chamber looks forward to working with all businesses this year.
