Sammy Martin VFW Post 7800 of Stuart recognized the JROTC Cadet of the Year on May 24 at the awards ceremony for Patrick County High School. Roy Jones, adjutant/quatermaster for Sammy Martin VFW Post 7800, presented Cadet Lt Col Kevin M. Flint with a certificate and medal in special recognition of outstanding achievements and exceptional leadership ability.
