Caring Hearts Free Clinic has received a $15,000 commitment from Jones & DeShon Orthodontics and Roanoke Valley Orthodontics to support its mission of providing free medical care to uninsured individuals in the community.
The first $6,000 installment of the donation was received, with additional contributions planned in 2026 to fulfill the total commitment from Dr. David L. Jones of Roanoke Valley Orthodontics and Dr. David Jones and Dr. Nicole DeShon of Jones & DeShon Orthodontics.
The clinic “is overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness,” officials there said, and added the donation will help ensure continued access to compassionate, high-quality health care for patients who otherwise might go without medical services.
“We are deeply grateful to Jones & DeShon Orthodontics and Dr. David L. Jones for their incredible generosity and commitment to community health. Their support allows us to continue caring for patients who might otherwise go without medical care. Their investment reflects a strong dedication to improving the well-being of our community, and we are honored to partner with organizations that share our heart for service,” the clinic wrote in a statement.
Caring Hearts Free Clinic provides no-cost medical services to eligible patients and relies on community partnerships and donations to operate.
