Join the Reynolds Homestead for a trip to Blacksburg on Saturday, March 19 for some Irish music in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
Take a rousing musical journey through Ireland with Danú, one of today’s leading traditional Irish ensembles. Hailing from historic County Waterford, Danú’s standing room-only concerts feature high-energy performances and a glorious mix of ancient Irish music and new repertoire.
For two decades, Danú’s virtuosi players on flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button accordion, bouzouki, and vocals (Irish and English), have performed around the globe and recorded seven critically acclaimed albums. Winners of numerous awards from the BBC and Irish Music Magazine, Danú has toured throughout Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
The evening includes transportation to and from Blacksburg, a private tour of the newly-opened Moss Center for the Arts, and tickets to the concert. The group will also dine at Blacksburg’s #1 rated restaurant, The Cellar, with the meal being on your own ($6-$16). Their selection of draft beers is unrivaled in the area.
Call the Reynolds Homestead at (276) 694-7181 to register. Full payment of $38 per person is due within seven days of making a reservation. Only 13 seats are available, so call early.
