The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce has started the new year with the annual membership drive. To those businesses, organizations and individuals who have been past members, “Thank you!” Without your support, the chamber would not have been able to achieve all that it did in 2024 from hosting the Economic Summit, Pick Up Patrick Campaign, continuing the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, be part of the Appalachian Regional Commission’s Appalachian Gateway Community Initiative, as well as hosting its annual Lunch with Community Leaders, hosting ribbon cuttings and representing the county in local, regional and state meetings. The chamber looks forward to continuing this work in 2025 with your support, help and membership.
Its partnership with Patrick County Tourism produces a wonderful magazine that has won awards and is the pride of our county. I hope that each business, organization, and individuals will continue to join to support our work promoting Patrick County. To those businesses or organizations who have not been members in the past, we invite you to join. We would love the opportunity to talk to you about all the benefits we can offer and how we can work together. The chamber’s motto is “Community is Our Business” and community has never been so vital as it is now. It is the chamber’s business to help the community with business assistance, tourism-related activities and events such as Stuart Spooktacular and Hometown Christmas.
Its staff are working on the new Lunch and Learn programming schedule for 2025 as well as the informal coffee talks around the county and continuation of our popular events and programming.
