Christel W. Fitts, age 77, of Fort Myers, Fla., and formerly of Martinsville, passed away October 3, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Fitts; her father, Albert Wodarczak; her mother, Anneliese L. Wodarczak Behrendt; and a sister, Doris Behrendt.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and E. Stanley Fain of Stuart; granddaughter, Christel and husband Tim Penn, and great-granddaughter, Penelope, all of Milwaukee, Wisc.; granddaughter, Krista Fain of Roanoke; grandson, E. Spencer Fain of Roanoke; brothers and sister-in-law, Wolfgang and Tina Behrendt and Volkmar Behrendt; sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Hansdieter Stork; and special friend, Inge Lanninger of Germany.
All services are private.
