The Ararat Ruritan Club will hold a Blood Drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Lambsburg Community Center will hold a cruise-in from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Everyone is invited to drive their vintage car, truck, or motorcycle to display. Steve Marshall and High Road will provide music on the center stage of the pavilion. Food will be available in the cafeteria and 50/50 tickets will be sold all evening. New Hope Church of the Brethren in Elamsville will hold a fundraiser meal for a girls orphanage in Haiti from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The meal consists of BBQ grilled chicken, green beans, slaw, drink, and dessert. Plates are $8 each and can be eat-in or carry-out.

The Russell Creek Community Crime Watch Meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the New Hope United Methodist Church in Stuart. The guest speaker will be Sheriff Dan Smith speaking on office operations and changes in the past year.

The Vesta Community Center will hold a Quarter Auction with doors opening at 5 p.m. and games starting at 6 p.m. $5 includes 2 paddles and 1 door prize ticket. The First Friday Summer Jam will take place at Stuart Farmers’ Market and will feature music by Slick Jr. and The Reactors. Gates open at 6 p.m., and admission is $5 per person with children 12 and under entering for free. Finger Wingin’ Good will be serving up food, and adult beverages will be available. Masks are required for those who are unvaccinated.
