Wednesday, Sept. 22

The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce will host the Business Services Lunch and Learn at 12 p.m. via Zoom. To register for the Zoom meeting, visit www.patrickchamber.com, or call the office at 276-694-6012.

 

The Patrick County Economic Development Authority (EDA) will hold a regular business meeting at 7 p.m. in the 3rd floor conference room of the Patrick County Administration Building.

 

Friday, Sept. 24

The Woolwine United Methodist Mobile Food Pantry will be at Woolwine DeHart Park from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

 

The Remnant House in Stuart will hold an Awakening Tent Service at 7 p.m.

 

Saturday, Sept. 25

The Ararat Ruritan Club will hold the monthly jackpot bingo. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. with concessions (hotdogs, chips, candy, popcorn, soft drinks, and water) ready and games start at 6 p.m. The anticipated jackpot is $800 and grows $100 each month until won. Regular payout is $50 per game and $150 coverall payout. Game sets are sold for $20 each, which includes two door prize tickets. Additional sets and door prize tickets can be purchased. Coverall games are sold for $5 each.

 

The Remnant House in Stuart will hold an Awakening Tent Service at 7 p.m.

 

The Lambsburg Community Center will hold a cruise-in from 4 p.m. until dark. The band Soundfactory with Bruce Gwyn and friends will be playing music, and a new dance pad has been installed. Sandwiches, drinks, and desserts will be sold inside where there are tables to eat and socialize. There will be a 50/50 drawing, and tickets cost $1 each or $5 for an arm’s length. Sunday, Sept. 26

The Remnant House in Stuart will hold an Awakening Tent Service at 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

 

Monday, Sept. 27

The Patrick County Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 p.m. in the Patrick County Administration Building.

 

Ongoing

The Stuart Farmer’s Market is open every Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. For up-to-date availability and produce, visit Facebook.com/StuartFarmersMarket.

 

The Coffee Break Café hosts live music every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Bring an instrument and join in, or just come and listen.

Meadows of Dan Community Center, 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 28:

Woolwine School, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Woolwine – Appletree Development Center, 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Woolwine – Rose Window 40 Charity, 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Charity- Charity Primitive Baptist Church, 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 29:
