The Woolwine Mobile Food Pantry will be at the Woolwine Fire Department from 3 to 5 p.m.
The LifeSpring Center in Stuart will be hosting Naturopath and Master Herbalist Lee Wellard, who has extensive experience in the field of holistic medicine.
The Patrick County Alzheimer’s Group LLC will be hosting BINGO in the Hooker Building. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and play starts at 7:00. The basic package cost is $25. We will be purchasing gift cards from local businesses to let them know they are appreciated.
The Stuart Farmers’ Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cool Season vegetables, baked items, crafts and more. Tool sharpening available on Friday for a fee. Get those knives ready for the holidays or clean up those garden tools for next season.

The Meadows of Dan Women’s Club will hold a Bingo night at the Meadows of Dan Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the games start at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be available for sale including hamburgers, hotdogs, and desserts. For more information, call 276-952-2674 or 276-952-6395.
The Veteran’s Day Parade to honor all veterans, past and present, is set to start at 2 p.m. The parade will line up at 1 p.m., and participants will line up on Wood Brothers Drive. One lane will be coned off for line up. All groups, veterans, veteran organizations, churches, schools, classic cars or vehicles, fire and rescue units, scout troops, and patriot riders are invited to ride or march with the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard as they honor veterans on this special occasion. High Point Baptist Church will hold an outdoor community meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with various soups starting to be served around 11:30 a.m. Singing by Emily and Jeff Walker will start at 11 a.m. Following the meal, there will be games for both children and adults to enjoy. Bring a chair and dress for the weather. In case of rain the event will be indoors.
The Patrick County History Museum begins opening on Saturdays, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., in addition to its ongoing open hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 till 2.

The Hardin Moore and Elizabeth Smith Ayers Smith family reunion will be held at the Ararat Ruritan Building starting at 12 p.m. Plates, utensils, and drinks will be provided. The Patrick County Food Bank will hold a distribution from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Stuart and Ararat and from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Stuart and Meadows of Dan.
Thursday, Nov. 11
The Buffalo Ridge Community Crime Watch Meeting will be at 7 p.m. at Sycamore Baptist Church. Guest speaker will be Investigator Jason Kruse speaking on his role as an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigator.
Friday, Nov. 12
The Spencer-Penn Centre will hold a music night will Snow Creek Ole Tyme Band in the Alumni Hall. The gate opens at 5 p.m. and the band will start going at 6:20 p.m. Admission is a $5 donation. Social distancing will be required with masks when that is not possible. Concessions will be sold.

The Spencer-Penn Centre will hold a Fall Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vendors, cruise-in, food trucks, a book sale, paint class, and Barnival on the Ballfield with the Pig Train. The Reynolds Homestead will host its annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair in person from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Community Engagement Center in Critz. Vendors are welcome to apply online at https://bit.ly/ReynoldsCraftFair.com, and physical application forms are also available at the Creative Arts Center (Patrick County Chamber of Commerce) or at the Reynolds Homestead. The Patrick County Historical Society will hold its annual meeting at 2 p.m. at the Patrick County Historical Museum, adjacent to the library in Stuart. The speaker will be Beverly Belcher Woody, and the event is free to the public. Light refreshments and tours of the museum will be offered following the meeting.
