The Patrick County Alzheimer’s Group, LLC, will hold Bingo at John D. Hooker Building at Rotary Field in Stuart. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and playing starts at 7 p.m.
Saturday, April 2
The Ararat Ruritan Club will host a barn quilt painting class that will be led by Lisa Martin with The Wormy Chestnut. The class will start at 10 a.m. and pre-registration is required via email by March 30 to lisaorpheus@gmail.com to ensure your template will b designed and ready for painting. The cost is $25 and includes all supplies needed to complete the barn quilt.
The Blue Ridge Elementary School Booster Club will host a Bingo event at Blue Ridge Elementary School. Doors open at 5 p.m. and games start at 6 p.m. There will be food available for purchase, and all proceeds benefit the Blue Ridge Boosters Club.
The Patrick Pentecostal Holiness Church will hold a big indoor yard sale and vendor event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. hotdogs. Baked goods will be for sale. The event is a fundraiser for the teen ministry at PSPHC.
Ross Harbour Church will hold its Scholarship yard sale with doors opening at 8 a.m. sharp inside. Outside sales will being as soon as stuff is taken outside. All proceeds go to help kids in need.
Biscuits and coffee will be available for sale.
The Meadows of Dan Women’s Club will hold Bingo at the Meadows of Dan Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. and games will start at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be available for sale. For more information, call (276) 952-2674 or (276) 952-6395.

The Patrick County Patriots are hosting a Turkey Shoot on Saturdays in April at the Smith River Wildlife Club. Practice rounds start at 1:30 p.m. with the event starting at 2 p.m. The rules are factory chokes only and no sleeves or rechokes. Food will be available for purchase by the Patrick County Patriots.

The Ararat Ruritan Club will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. There will be lots of candy-filled eggs with a few prize eggs mixed in.

Stuart United Methodist Church will offer The Circle of Hands from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall on the first and third Sunday of every month. If it is a holiday weekend, the meeting will be cancelled. Men and women are invited to attend the new group, which offers an opportunity to fellowship. Bring a project to work on or lean a new craft. Refreshments will be provided.
