The Patrick County Patriots will hold a Turkey Shoot every Saturday in April at the Smith River Wildlife Club. Practice rounds start at 1:30 p.m. with the event starting at 2 p.m. The rules are factory chokes only and no sleeves or rechokes. Food will be available for purchase by the Patrick County Patriots.
Wednesday, April 6
The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly lunch and learn starting at 12 p.m. The event will focus on internship programs for the area. Register at www.patrickchamber.com to get the Zoom link.
Thursday, April 7
Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) will hold an Effective Listening course from 9-11 a.m. in-person or virtual. The cost of the course is $49. Pre-registration is required by going to ph.augusoft.net, or calling (276)-656-0260.

The Woolwine United Church mobile food unit and the Ross Harbour Children’s Clothing Ministry will be at the Woolwine Fire Department from 3-5 p.m. with free food and clothing.
Saturday, April 9
The Ararat Ruritan Club will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. There will be lots of candy-filled eggs with a few prize eggs mixed in.
Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) will hold a Fab Lab Family Day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $15 per person. Pre-registration is required by going to ph.augusoft.net or calling 276-656-5461.

Stuart Baptist Church will be hosting Holy Week Services starting at 12 p.m. daily. There will be a different speaker for each service and the Patrick County High School Praise Team will be singing during Friday’s service. A light lunch will be served after each service.
Tuesday, April 12
Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) will hold a leadership course from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in-person or virtual. The cost of the course is $89 for an individual session. Pre-registration is required by going to ph.augusoft.net, or calling (276)-656-0260.
Wednesday, April 13
The Patrick County Community Food Bank will hold a food distribution day at the Stuart site from 8:30-11 a.m. and from 5-6:30 p.m. There will be a morning distribution in Ararat from 8:30-11 a.m., and an evening distribution in Meadows of Dan from 5-6:30 p.m.
Friday, April 15
The Woolwine United Methodist Church will hold a Stations of the Cross: A devotional self-guided walk with Jesus through nine stations anytime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Saturday, April 16
