The Patrick County School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Patrick County School Board building.
Monday, Jan. 23
The Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) Budget and Finance Committee and the Legislative Committee will meet jointly at 11:30 a.m. in the second floor conference room of the Dalton IDEA Center.
The Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) Local Board will meet at 12:30 p.m. at the Dalton IDEA Center in Martinsville. This is an open meeting, however the board will not receive public comment.
The Patrick County Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 p.m. in the third-floor court room of the Patrick County Administration Office.

The Patrick County Economic Development Authority (EDA) will meet in the second-floor meeting room at 7 p.m. in the Patrick County Administration Building.

A Turkey Shoot, sponsored by the Patrick County Patriots, will be held at the Smith River Wildlife Building on Charity Highway in Woolwine, starting at 1 p.m. Practice rounds begin at 12:30. Food will be available for purchase by the Patrick County Patriots.

A meeting to discuss the possibility of organizing a Ruritan Club in the Stuart Community and/or surrounding area will be held at the Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) Community Room at 7 p.m.
The Briarpatch Amateur Radio Club will hold an in-person at the First Christian Church in Galax. Elections will be held at the BARC meeting, membership dues will be collected, an auction of analog gear is anticipated and the 2023 events calendar will be discussed. All amateur radio operators and interested non-hams are welcome to attend. The Patrick County Community Food Bank will hold a food distribution day at the Stuart site from 8:30-11 a.m. and from 5-6:30 p.m. There will be a morning distribution in Ararat from 8:30-11 a.m., and an evening distribution in Meadows of Dan from 5-6:30 p.m.

The Patrick Springs Park Board will hold a bingo fundraiser at Patrick Springs Primary School. Doors open at 6 p.m. and games start at 7 p.m.
