The Rise & Shine Youth Market will be at the Farmers’ Market, 8 a.m. – noon, 320 Chestnut Road, Stuart. The market is a local youth-led makers and growers’ market for youth aged 8 to 18.

The Mayberry Book Festival, sponsored by The Perry Family Scholarship, will be hosted at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History, 301 North Main St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The 8th annual Rock Castle Descendants Reunion will be held at 12 p.m. at Slate Mountain Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Meadows of Dan. New Hope Community Church, 1863 Clark House Farm Road, Stuart, will hold an evening of music and fellowship featuring Tina and Herbert Conner starting at 7 p.m. Refreshments will follow the singing.

The Ararat Ruritan Club, 4711 Ararat Highway, Ararat, will host a Sunday/Funday with Cars & Cornhole, 2-5 p.m. Cruise in and take part in the blind draw cornhole tournament. There is no charge for the cruise-in and the cornhole tournament is $10 per player. Hotdogs and ice cream will be available.
