Stuart Farmers Market: will open for the season starting May 1. However, due to the ongoing restrictions, it will be a pre-order and pick up only. Each week’s vendors and available produce will be posted the market’s Facebook page and in The Enterprise. Customers are asked to call the vendors and place their orders or order through their website. Vendors will be on hand to deliver on Fridays between 8 a.m. and noon. Customers will remain in vehicles as a car hop assists you. You will need to bring exact cash (check if vendor accepts) for each order. Vendors will NOT make change. Virginia Legal Aid Society: will remain open and the telephone intake and advice system, will remain open during its normal business hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at 866-534-5243 (866-LEGL-AID). VLAS’s five offices in Lynchburg, Danville, Martinsville, Farmville and Suffolk will remain open by appointment and during limited open business hours. Visitors should contact their local office prior to visiting in order to confirm hours of public access.

Supreme Court of Virginia: Courts and clerks’ offices shall remain operational and provide services required by law while, at the same time, maintaining protections for the health and safety of court users and personnel. The court shall continue all civil, traffic and criminal matters, including jury trials, except for emergencies.

Patrick County Public Animal Shelter: The shelter will have limited hours and accesses. To schedule for adoption or surrender of an animal call (276) 694-6259. The Patrick County Public Animal Shelter will post updates on their Facebook page where they can be contacted for missing animals and other services.
