The Ararat Ruritan Club will be participating in a “Road-Side Clean-up” on Saturday, March 20. Anyone interested in helping with this club project is asked to meet at the club’s building at 12:45 on Saturday. After all the bags have been collected, pizza will be served to the volunteers.

Providence United Methodist Church in Patrick Springs will hold a free community breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The menu includes bacon, sausage, eggs, apples, gravy, and biscuits and the event is drive-thru only. The food pantry will be open for those who are in need o non-perishable foods.

The Willis Gap Community Center is hosting an OPEN JAM every Friday night. Solutions that Empower People (STEP) Inc. will provide free tax prep for Patrick County residents until Apr.7. Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be scheduled by calling (276) 340-3445.
