In February, current and former Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) students will compete in the college’s first Miss PHCC Scholarship Pageant—a preliminary to the Miss Virginia/Miss America scholarship program.
The women, ages 17 to 24, compete for thousands of dollars of scholarships to continue their education. PHCC is now offering community members and local businesses a chance to support these women by donating towards scholarships or by becoming a sponsor of the pageant.
Sponsors can receive ad space in the pageant program which can be used to promote a business or to support a contestant. Donors who provide $100 or more also receive ticket(s) to the show. Those who give $250 or more sponsor a named award – which will be mentioned during the pageant and printed in the program.
