The Patrick County High School golf team played their final Conference 32 match last Tuesday at Auburn Hills Country Club.
Bassett won the match with a score of 294. Auburn finished a close second with a 296. Hidden Valley scored 303, and Cave Spring and Patrick County tied at 338. Christiansburg shot 348.
Jake Martin was low scorer for the Cougars with a 78. Evan Hopkins shot 84 with Wesley Diggs carding a 96. Daniel Smith shot a 90.
“We played well today as a team on a golf course that demands strong shots in the fairway from the tee.
The Cougars competed in the Conference 32 Monday at Hidden Valley Country Club.
