Music Night at Spencer-Penn Centre is Friday, June 8. Doors open at 5 p.m., with open MIC at 5:30 p.m. The Southern Gentlemen will take the stage at 6:20 p.m., followed by The Country Boys at 7:40 p.m.

The Country Boys, a traditional bluegrass group from Patrick County and Surry County, N.C., originated more than 30 years ago with founding member and leader, Donald Clifton. In addition to Clifton on guitar and vocals, other members include Billy Hawks on Fiddle; Tim Bowman on banjo and vocals; Nick Goad on mandolin; Doug Joyce on bass; and Johnny Joyce on guitar and vocals.
