The Patrick County Democratic Committee has elected new officers to lead the local party into 2026 with a renewed focus on visibility, engagement, and organization.
Yvonne Rorrer was elected as chair. Former Chair John Reynolds will continue his service as vice chairman. Jeff Clark was elected Treasurer, and Stephanie Sayre was elected Secretary.
Under the new leadership team, the committee is entering a period of rebranding and revitalization. Plans for 2026 include increased community visibility, expanded engagement opportunities, more social events, and a stronger emphasis on structure and strategic planning.
“This is about building something active, welcoming, and rooted right here in our community,” said Rorrer. “We want to create a local party that people feel comfortable engaging with and excited to be part of.”
The committee has already developed a new website with new features that include the ability to become a member by online membership form as well as online donation options, designed to make getting involved easier than ever. Monthly meetings will be open to all committee members, friends and visitors who are interested in getting involved and helping move the committee forward.
