The following cases were adjudicated last month in Patrick County Circuit Court, according to records in the Patrick County Circuit Court Clerk’s office.
March 4:
Rodney Taylor Martin was found guilty of three counts of distribution of Schedule I or II controlled substance; sentenced on one count to 10 years in the penitentiary all suspended except two years, a fine of $100 and costs; sentenced on each remaining count to 10 years in the penitentiary all suspended, a fine of $100 and costs; probation for five years and make restitution of $310.
Andrew Smith was found guilty of one count each probation violation, with all time previously suspended revoked and re-suspended except 60 days, ordered to pay costs; shoplifting, third offense, sentenced to five years in the penitentiary all suspended except one year and three months, ordered to pay a fine of $200 and costs; fail to appear, sentenced to 30 days in jail and ordered to pay costs. Also must complete five years of probation and make restitution of $46.64.
Mark Kurtz was found guilty of disorderly conduct, sentenced to 12 months in jail all suspended, two years good behavior, ordered to pay costs.
Tanya Branch was found guilty of one count each uninsured vehicle, ordered to pay a fine of $200 and costs; drive suspended – third offense, sentenced to 90 days in jail, Operator’s License suspended for six months, ordered to pay costs; hit and run, sentenced to 12 months in jail, ordered to pay costs; fail to appear, sentenced to six months in jail, ordered to pay costs.
Tiffany Nadeau was found guilty of a probation violation, all time previously suspended was revoked and resuspended, four years of probation and ordered to pay costs.
Reginald Mitchell, Jr. was found guilty of violating the Habitual Offender Act, sentenced to five years in the penitentiary all suspended except one year and ordered to pay costs.
Darrell Dodson was found guilty of a probation violation, all time previously suspended was revoked and resuspended upon 10 years good behavior.
March 12:
Donna Goins was found guilty of possession of Schedule I or II controlled substance, sentenced to five years in the penitentiary all suspended except one month, five years of probation, ordered to pay costs.
Dennis Cherry was found guilty of reckless driving, sentenced to 30 days in jail all suspended except four days, 12 months good behavior, ordered to pay a fine of $750 and costs.
Eric Baliles was found guilty of a probation violation, all time previously suspended was revoked and re-suspended upon successful completion of a program, probation remains intact, ordered to pay costs.
William Henry Dotson was found guilty of improper driving, ordered to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
March 13:
Jennifer Graves was found guilty of obtain money by false pretenses, sentenced to five years in the penitentiary all suspended except nine months, make restitution of $3,168.68, three years of probation, pay a fine of $200 and costs.
March 18:
Kendall Dodson was found guilty of grand larceny, sentenced to 10 years in the penitentiary all suspended except four months, three years of probation, pay a fine of $200 and costs.
Samantha Moorefield was found guilty of a probation violation, all time previously suspended was revoked and resuspended except 45 days, three years of probation, costs.
Bobby O. Lawson was found guilty of a probation violation, all time previously suspended was revoked and resuspended except nine months, probation was extended five years, costs.
Devin Ray Marshall was found guilty of: two counts of disorderly conduct, sentenced on each count to 90 days in jail all suspended, costs. Also must complete one year good behavior
Donald McNeely was found guilty of a probation violation, all time previously suspended was revoked and resuspended upon successful completion of a program, probation remains intact, ordered to pay costs.
March 25:
Travis Cooley was found guilty of a probation violation, all time previously suspended was revoked and resuspended except seven months, probation was extended five years, ordered to pay costs.
Cory Martin was found guilty of a probation violation, all time previously suspended was revoked and resuspended except six months, five years of probation and costs.
Angela Justice was found guilty of petty larceny, sentenced to six months in jail, all suspended upon two years of good behavior, ordered to pay costs.
Grant Matthew Alderman was found guilty of one count each drive suspended – first offense, ordered to pay costs; improper driving, a fine of $100 and costs.
Israel Branch was found guilty of one count each larceny of a motor vehicle, sentenced to five years in the penitentiary all suspended except one day, ordered to pay costs; a probation violation, all time previously suspended was revoked and resuspended except 11 months and 28 days, and pay costs. Five years of probation.
Ronald McGuire was found guilty of one count each possession of a firearm by felon, sentenced to five years in the penitentiary all suspended except 11 months, ordered to pay costs; petty larceny, sentenced to 12 months in jail, all suspended except 30 days, a fine of $250 and costs, break and enter, sentenced to five years in the penitentiary all suspended, pay costs. Must complete four years of probation.
William Rogers was found guilty of a probation violation, all time previously suspended was revoked and resuspended except six months, removed from probation, must complete five years good behavior and pay costs.
Kevin Allen Robinson was found guilty of one count each failure to appear, sentenced to 90 days in jail and costs; fail to pay restitution, all time previously suspended was revoked and resuspended except 60 days and costs.
March 27:
Sabrina Walker Brooks was found guilty of one count each larceny of a vehicle, sentenced to five years in the penitentiary all suspended except 90 days; larceny of a firearm, sentenced to five years in the penitentiary all suspended and costs; petty larceny, sentenced to 12 months in jail, all suspended, a fine of $200 and costs; possession of a firearm by a felon, five years in the penitentiary all suspended, costs. Also must complete five years of probation and make restitution of $500.
March 29:
Beverly French was found guilty of possession of marijuana, ordered to pay a fine of $100 and costs.
