The cross-stitch artwork of Evelie Harrell Agee will be on display at the Patrick County Library through the end of August. Agee has been cross-stitching since 1989 when she made a Christmas stocking for her first grandchild, Magan, and has been stitching ever since. She has elevated cross-stitch to the level of art with her intricate counted pieces, and also incorporates needlepoint stitching and beading into some of her designs.
