The Bear Den of Cub Scout Pack 69 and their parents visited the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office last week. Captain Ward Stone, along with members of the sheriff’s office, provided valuable lessons in safety in all aspects and assisted the scouts in completing a requirement. The Cub Scouts took turns asking questions to learn how help them to stay safe. They learned about fingerprinting and participated in the fingerprinting process. They also learned about various careers in law enforcement, expressed appreciation to the sheriff’s office personnel for keeping our community safe and learned how each person can continue to be better citizens in our county.
