Patrick County Treasurer Sandra K. Stone has issued a public service reminder to all taxpayers, notifying you that Monday, June 6 is the due date for the first half of the 2016 real estate taxes.
If you have not received your statement, please contact the treasurer’s office immediately at 276-694-7257.
A 10% penalty will be added to the first half unpaid taxes on Tuesday, June 7. Ten percent annum interest will begin to accrue on the unpaid tax plus penalty 26 days after the due date. Payments are honored if postmarked by the post office June 6.
Please remit payments to: Patrick County Treasurer, located in the Patrick County Veterans’ Memorial Building, Room 221, or mail it to P.O. Box 668, Stuart, VA 24171.
