Lacey Denise Easter is the 2021 DAR recipient for Blue Ridge Elementary School.
In addition to the DAR Award, Lacey is also a recipient of the Principal’s Award and President’s Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence. She also received the highest average in her homeroom for Math, English, Science, and Civics for the year.
Lacey received a special service award, for raising and lowering the Flag this school year. Lacey is a member of the Blue Ridge JR Beta Club. She has also cheered for many years for football and basketball at Blue Ridge Elementary School.
Lacey was born with several health conditions, one of which was a heart defect. She had open-heart surgery at 4 months of age. She enjoys playing outside and living a healthy and active life today.
Lacey is a member of Doe Run Baptist Church and enjoys going to church and participating in church functions. She loves to read a variety of books including the Bible.
Lacey Easter is the daughter of Jerry and Alison Easter. She has one brother, Colt Easter. She is the granddaughter of Posey and Mozelle Stanley and Bennil and Patsy Easter.
