A Celebration of Life for George Rigney will be held on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. in the Patrick County High School auditorium.

Rigney, 86, died Sept. 30 following a brief illness. He was a teacher for 50 years and spent most of his career as an English teacher at PCHS.

The event is public, and all friends, family, former students and anyone else who knew Rigney are invited to attend.

The Rev. Mark Lawless will be the clergy.

Donations to the George Rigney Scholarship Fund also will be accepted.
