BREAKFAST: (free to all students) Grab and Go carts located in each school; traditional breakfast in dining room. Monday: French toast or biscuit and gravy; Tuesday: Dutch waffle; Wednesday: chicken biscuit; Thursday: breakfast pizza; Friday: mini maple pancakes.
Cereal, toast, Pop Tart, string cheese, assorted fruit and juice, and a choice of milk are offered daily.
Schools must offer at least four food items from the three required components (fruit, grains, milk). The student must select three food items, including at least 1/2 cup fruit, to have a reimbursable meal.
LUNCH: Monday: barbecue on bun or white chicken chili, Tostitos, chicken flavored rice, green beans, coleslaw tomato-cucumber salad, fruit cup or fresh fruit; Tuesday: hot dog with chili or fish sandwich, French fries, coleslaw, baked beans, fruit cup; Wednesday: lasagna with roll or pork patty with gravy and roll, lima beans, corn, fruit cup; Thursday: beef taco or chicken wrap, lettuce, tomato, salsa, cheesy potatoes, refried beans, sweet potato bread, fruit cup; Friday: chicken and gravy with biscuit or sausage and gravy with biscuit, green peas, honey roasted sweet potatoes, fruit cup.
Fruit cup or fresh fruit, WOW butter sandwiches (with or without jelly), toasted cheese sandwiches, chef’s salad, tossed salads, and a choice of milk are offered daily.
