Shirley Huffman and Carl Hannah of Blacksburg announce the engagement of Ms. Huffman’s daughter, Brooke Lawson, to Dustin Cooper. Miss Lawson is also the daughter of Larry W. Lawson of Draper. Cooper is the son of Michael and Beverly Cooper of Stuart.
The bride-elect is the bereavement director for the Medi Home Health and Hospice in Roanoke.
The bridegroom-elect is an A class lineman for American Electric Power in Fieldale.
A June 2017 wedding is planned.
